I was walking to my class and I bumped into my friend (who I have a crush on) who lives out of town and I don't get to see often. I ran into his arms and gave him a hug and then I ditched class (with permission from my teacher) to hang out with him before feeling guilty and going back to class with him and then we just were walking around together and hanging out for the rest of the day.
Dreams often reflect our thoughts, feelings, and desires, and your dream seems to center around your feelings for your friend and the longing for connection. Here are some interpretations based on the elements of the dream:
Connection and longing: The dream demonstrates your desire to spend time with this friend, especially since you have a crush on them. Running into their arms suggests an eagerness and excitement about being close to someone you care about.
Freedom vs. responsibility: Ditching class implies a yearning to escape responsibilities in favor of personal desires, highlighting an internal conflict between duty (school) and desire (spending time with this friend). The permission from your teacher might indicate that you feel some endorsement or support in pursuing your feelings.
Guilt: The feeling of guilt that you experienced after ditching class might reflect your worries about prioritizing personal desires over obligations. This suggests that you are grappling with how to balance social interactions and responsibilities in your waking life.
Time spent together: Walking and hanging out for the rest of the day symbolizes the simplicity and joy of companionship. It could represent your ideal scenario of friendship or a romantic relationship—casual, enjoyable, and fulfilling.
Overall, this dream highlights your feelings for your friend and perhaps an inner desire for a deeper connection with them. It shows your awareness of the balance between your personal life and responsibilities, as well as your hope for more meaningful moments with this person.
